Travel RN Opportunity - Behavioral Health

Location: Englewood, Colorado
Specialty: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)
Employment Type: Travel

Position Details

Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed (includes weekend hours)
Call Requirements: On-call/text when shifts open or someone calls off
Number of Openings: 1
Float Requirements: Must be able to float to all 4 units if necessary

Facility & Unit Information

Facility Type: Acute stabilization behavioral health hospital
Number of Beds: 96 beds across 4 units (20-26 patients per unit)
Patient Population:
- Adolescents (13-17 years old)
- Adults (18+ years old)
Patient Ratios:
- 1:12 on Adolescent, Adult Mental Wellness, and Adult Acute units
- 1:10 on Adult Dual Diagnosis/Substance Use Disorder (SUD) unit
Average Length of Stay: 7-10 days
EHR System: HCS

Required Qualifications

Licensure: Valid RN license
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Behavioral Health nursing
Skills:
- De-escalation skills required
- Preferred experience with behavioral health, medical or dual diagnosis patients
- Ability to perform CIWA (Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment) and COWS (Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale) assessments

Additional Information

Dress Code: Navy scrubs
Contract Length: 13 weeks
