Unit: Blood & Marrow Transplant (BMT) ICU

Staffing:
- 82 nurses
- 7 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 15-16 nurses, 3 PCTs
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 15-16 nurses
Patient Ratios: 3:1
Equipment: Alaris Pumps
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills

Oncology experience
ACLS certification

Preferred Skills

Chemotherapy Certification
BMTCN and/or OCN certification

Typical Procedures

Chemotherapy administration
Neutropenic fever protocols (blood culture draws, IV medications)
