Job Description
- Position: Critical Care Unit (CCU) Registered Nurse

Experience Requirements
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (CCU)

- State License Verification - Required within 30 days of start
- NURSYS Verification (RN) - Required within 30 days of start
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) - Required for Telemetry RNs
Background and Compliance Requirements
- 7 Year Background Check required within 1 year of start; must be updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
- Education Verification (highest level) or transcript/diploma required
- State-specific checks for Texas (DADS Employability Status Check and Employee Misconduct Registry) required within 30 days of start
- Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen with THC within 10 business days prior to start; no pending results allowed
- References: 2 references required within 3 years of start
- Employment Application/Resume required
- Skills Checklist: Required and must be updated annually
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start; must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract
- Fit Mask Test: Required annually (3M 1860 Regular or 3M 1860S)
- Immunizations/Vaccinations (must be current or have positive titers/declinations as applicable):
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (PPD or Qgold/Tspot within 1 year)
- TB Questionnaire (annual)
- Rubeola (Measles) - Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
- Mumps - Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
- Rubella - Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
- Hepatitis B - Positive titer, series, or declination accepted
- Varicella - Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination or exemption (for 2025-26 season)

- Candidate must review and sign multiple facility-specific acknowledgments and agreements prior to start, including:
