Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position

Location: Sun City Center, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech with experience in cardiac catheterization procedures to join a hospital unit with 130 beds and a small, dedicated team. The position involves working AM and PM shifts with on-call responsibilities 12-15 days per month.

Requirements

• Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
• Certifications:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Cath Lab Tech Certification
• Skills:

  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience (required)
  • Scrub/Monitor/Circulating (preferred)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Typical Procedures

• Left Heart Catheterization
• PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)
• Pacemaker procedures
• TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram)
• Stress Testing
• Loop Recorders

Work Environment & Schedule

• Unit staffed with 6 full-time employees (3 RNs, 3 Radiologic Technologists)
• Equipment includes GE Innova and MacLab systems
• EMR system: Meditech
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
• On-call required 12-15 days per month
