Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position
Location: Greeneville, Tennessee

Work Schedule & Environment
- 4x10 hour day shifts
- On-call Monday-Thursday with every 3rd to 4th weekend
- Rotating holidays
- General orientation begins on Sundays (online CBLs)
- 16 hours of non-billable orientation required
- Hospital may cancel one shift biweekly without penalty due to census changes
- Additional overtime shifts may be flexed based on hospital census without penalty
- Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care

Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start (not required annually)
- Fit mask testing completed onsite (previous fit tests from non-facility not accepted)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable (2 PPDs within last 12 months or QGold/TSPOT within 3 months)
- MMR titers (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella) or documentation of vaccination/boosters
- Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination
- Varicella titer or documentation of vaccination/boosters
- Standard 9-panel drug screen within 14 days of start (instant acceptable as placeholder)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Sept 29 - Mar 31)
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Photo for badge within 48 hours of signed contract (ID photo standards apply)
- Completion of staff info form within 24 hours of signed contract (including Epic experience if applicable)
- Review and compliance with department-specific uniform guidelines and dress code
- Completion of contaminated sharps and body fluid exposure statement (Hep C titer required if exposure reported)
- Review of smoking and tobacco use policy
- Review of influenza policy and submission of flu exemption requests if applicable
- Completion of respirator medical evaluation questionnaire within 48 hours of signed contract
- Respiratory medical clearance form to be completed by facility
- Review of CDC facial hair guidelines for respirator use
Competencies & Documentation
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable

- References: minimum 2 preferred, ideally 3

- Traveler’s permanent residence must be at least 100 miles from the hospital’s service area
