Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Gainesville, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an Occupational Therapist with Neuro or Inpatient Rehab experience for a travel assignment.

Requirements

Specialty: Neuro or Inpatient Rehab preferred
Years of Experience: 2 years (highest requirement noted)
Prior Travel Experience: Not required
Certifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license in Georgia
Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy

Work Details

Shift: Day with weekend rotation
Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: 8 hours
Call: None
Float Requirements: None

Unit Information

Facility Type: Free-standing rehabilitation facility, 2-story
Number of Beds: 40
Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per therapist
Patient Population: Adult, geriatric, neuro, ortho, debility, amputee, critical illness
Common Diagnoses: CVA (stroke), hip fracture, debility
Equipment Used: Bioness Vector, Senaptec, Neuro VR, Lite Gait, Standing Frame, Tilt Table, Car Simulator, Chattanooga Tower, NuStep, Omnicycle
EHR System: EPIC (read only), UDS Pro Doc Rehab Connect

Skills & Experience

Must have skills in evaluation and treatment of neuro, ortho, and geriatric populations
Preferred experience with Neuro, inpatient rehab, and GG Quality Indicators
Personality fit: Down to earth, enjoys engaging with treatments and coworkers, good sense of humor
