Job Opportunity: RN Telemetry I

Location: Woonsocket, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Job Description

• Position: Medical/Surgical Tele Float RN
• Specialty: Telemetry with cardiac focus
• Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years recent cardiac experience
• Expectations:

  • Experience with Cardiac Caths and cardiac patients on Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
  • Must have prior ACLS certification and demonstrated use in previous positions (no provisional compliance)
  • EPIC experience required
• Shift: Every other weekend, including every other Friday and Saturday night (night shift weekend requirement)

Onboarding Requirements

• Primary source verification of professional license and certifications (within 30 days of start)
• Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80%)

• Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80%)

• Workplace Violence Prevention Training (DCI/BVP)
• COVID-19 Vaccine (2 doses + booster or declination)
• MMR (proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer)
• Annual Respirator Fit Test (must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)

Experience Requirements

• Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years cardiac nursing experience (highest stated requirement)
• Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

• Rhode Island is a compact state for nursing licenses.
• Submission must be in one PDF including all required documents for review.
• ACLS certification must reflect active use in prior roles; simply obtaining certification to meet compliance is not acceptable.
