Job Opportunity: Peds X-Ray Tech

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements & Certifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Pediatric experience preferred but not mandatory
• Prior travel experience: Not required

Department & Work Environment

• Department: Radiology - General X-Ray
• Equipment:

  • 2 X-ray rooms
  • 1 fluoro room
  • 5 portable units
  • 2 C-arms
  • 2 mini-C-arms
  • 1 O-arm
• Imaging/Studies performed: OR, fluoro, diagnostic, ED patients, mobile x-rays
• Average number of scans/studies per day: 85
• EMR/PACS systems used: EPIC, Fuji PACS
• Equipment brands: Canon Ultimax fluoro unit, Dell x-ray rooms, GE C-arms
• Radiologist coverage: Pediatric Radiologist in-house during daytime hours (M-F), Resident in-house 24/7
• Use of Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA): Yes, tech assistants available
• IV starts: Not required

Scheduling & Work Hours

• Shift: Daytime hours, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
• Schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Weekend and holiday work: Yes
• Call or standby: Not required
• Self-scheduling or block scheduling: No
• Scrubs provided
• Department-specific orientation provided
