Travel RN Opportunity - Inpatient Rehab

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Nursing (RN)

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient rehab nursing
Must have at least 13 weeks of EPIC electronic health record experience
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Facility & Unit Information

49-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation facility
Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions requiring inpatient rehab
Patient ratio: 6 patients to 1 nurse
EHR system: EPIC
Accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs

Shift & Schedule

Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend hours: Every other weekend
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 (with possible call-off up to 2 times without penalty due to low census)
No on-call requirements

Certifications & Education

BLS certification required

Additional Notes

No float requirements
Preferred skillset includes EPIC and rehab experience (or at least acute care experience)
Scrub color: Any
Reporting time on first day: 8:00 AM

This position is ideal for RNs with inpatient rehab experience looking for a travel assignment in a well-accredited rehab hospital with a supportive environment and a manageable patient ratio.
