Job Description

• Position: EP Lab Tech (Days)
• Welcomes first-time travelers with extensive previous experience
• Scrubs provided

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• National Certification (ARRT or CCI)
• New Mexico License (pending acceptable)

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• I9 form (for direct candidates)
• Driver’s License or State ID

• Immunizations and health documents:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • TB questionnaire if positive results, renewed annually
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
  • Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: Positive titer, 2 vaccines, or physician-documented history required
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required

Competency Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (80% score or meet/exceed Angoff score)
• Color Blind Testing (online acceptable)
• Competency exams as applicable to profession (minimum 80% passing score)
• Annual core testing for subcontractors

Additional Notes

• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement and HIPAA compliance required
• Various certifications such as PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, CPI, NIH Stroke Certification, and Management of Assaultive Behavior may be required as applicable
• Work history verification for the past 7 years required
• Skills checklist specific to the unit required annually
