Work Environment & Department Details

• Labs: 2 labs, 1 hybrid room
• Recovery Area: 6 beds
• Average Cases per Day: 5
• Common Patient Diagnoses: STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, stroke patients needing neuro-intervention, peripheral angiograms, line placement & drain placement, loop recorders
• EMR: Epic
• Equipment: Philips monitoring equipment, McKesson in labs, Philips tables, 1 lab with BiPlane

Shift & Scheduling

• Shift Length: 8 hours (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
• On Call Requirements:

  • 2-3 weeknights per week
  • Every 3rd weekend
  • 2-3 holidays per year
• Floating: Typically do not float
• Orientation: 32 hours (4 shifts)
• Scrubs: Hospital scrubs provided

Additional Notes

• Must have an active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• Drug-free campus: Negative drug screen required for all panels
• Charge nurse available on shift and may take assignments occasionally
• Local rate applies for clinicians living within 50 miles (not relevant for pay details)
• Non-billable orientation hours: 12 hours (guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation)
