Travel CST/ORT Job Opportunity - Arkansas, Johnson

Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST/ORT)
Location: Johnson, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4 shifts per week, 10-hour shifts (Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Job Description

Prepare the operating room, including the sterile field
Set up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions
Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during surgery
Manage surgical equipment and sterile field simultaneously
Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent retained foreign objects

Requirements

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential obtained through a CAAHEP-accredited or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program
National Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) examination passed, administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
