Job Opportunity: RN Dialysis

Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Variable shifts, generally starting at 5:30 AM but may vary to mid-morning or late afternoon on some days due to extra patient treatments
• Work schedule: 4 or 5 days per week, Sundays off
• Shared housing provided at no cost

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN License (no conditional licenses accepted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred, will accept Red Cross)
• Must complete FEMA ICS 100 Training prior to onboarding
• Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date (no religious exemptions)
• Documentation of required immunizations and health screenings including:

  • MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccination or proof of immunity
  • Influenza vaccine during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed
  • TB test (skin test or blood test) within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI, SSN trace, national sex offender check, and exclusion checks must be completed and updated as required
• Resume with past 7 years of work experience including city and state
• Two recent references, at least one supervisor or above, in the relevant skillset
• Skills checklist and candidate submission coversheet required for submission

Preferred / Optional

• Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity strongly preferred
• Tdap vaccination within 10 years preferred
• Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation and TB symptom survey

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
