Description

Travel RN - Home Health Physical Therapist

Location: Winchester, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Role: Home Health Physical Therapist (PT)
Provide direct patient care in patients' homes as part of a multidisciplinary team
Evaluate patients and design individualized plans of care
Use guided interventions to improve safety and functional independence
Supervise care provided by assistants
Patient load: 5-7 patients per day (varies by visit type)
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5 days x 8 hours)
Weekend requirement: Every 5th weekend
On-call: None

Requirements

Specialty: Physical Therapist in Home Health
Years of Experience: 2 years (highest required from data)
Prior Travel Experience: Not required
Certifications/Licenses:
- BLS
- Virginia Physical Therapy License (or license status if not yet obtained)
- Driver’s License
Documentation: Ability to use laptop and cell phone for communication and documentation

Work Environment

EMR system: EPIC
Dress code: Black scrubs (per Valley Health dress code policy)
Patient type: Home health patients (varied)

Additional Notes

This is a travel contract position
Location offers access to outdoor activities and cultural experiences in the Shenandoah Valley area
