Medical-Surgical Travel Nurse Opportunity

Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Job Details

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical (general, ortho, neuro, and spine)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour shifts

  • Day Shift: 0600-1830
  • Night Shift: 1800-0630
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Usually applicable May-Sept and Nov-Jan; cannot request more than 1 holiday off during contract
• Floating Requirement: First to float to PCU for a MSU assignment unless telemetry trained
• Patient Ratios:

  • Max 1:6 ratio
  • Day shift M-F typically 1:5
• Unit Size: 23 beds

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Experience Requirements
