Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Mountain Home, Arkansas

Job Summary

• Assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving skills needed for daily living and working.
• Work under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.
• Use therapeutic everyday activities and exercise based on an established care plan.
• Outpatient clinic environment.
• No call required.

Required Experience

Licensure & Certifications

• Current Arkansas PTA license in good standing.

• Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant Education Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.

• Good manual dexterity, hearing, and visual acuity.
• Basic computer skills to operate software for patient care documentation.

Work Environment

• Outpatient clinic setting.
• Potential exposure to communicable diseases and blood or other body fluids.

Required Documents & Compliance

• Background check (7-year, with annual updates as applicable).
• Verification of education and licensure.
• Various health screenings and immunizations including:

  • Physical exam (within 1 year).
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
  • Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap.
  • Drug testing (negative 10-panel drug screen).
  • Flu vaccination or documented declination during flu season.
  • COVID vaccination or exemption documentation.
• References: 2 required within 2-3 years.
• Skills checklist and work history verification.
• Facility-specific compliance documents and orientation requirements.
