Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Position

Location: Gainesville, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Seeking an SLP with neuro or inpatient rehab experience for a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital specializing in recovery from severe injury or illness. The facility provides customized rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.


Position Details

  • Specialty: Neuro or Inpatient Rehab preferred
  • Shift: Day with weekend rotation
  • Weekly Hours: 40 (including 8 weekend hours)
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Patient Population: Adult, geriatric, neuro, ortho, debility, amputee, critical illness
  • Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per clinician
  • Equipment Used: Bioness Vector, Senaptec, Neuro VR, Lite Gait, Standing Frame, Tilt Table, Car Simulator, Chattanooga Tower, NuStep, Omnicycle
  • EHR System: EPIC (read only), UDS Pro Doc Rehab Connect

Requirements

  • Licensure: Must hold a valid Georgia SLP license
  • Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (neuro or inpatient rehab experience required)
  • Skills:
    • Evaluation and treatment of neuro, ortho, and geriatric populations
    • Preferred experience with GG Quality Indicators
  • Personality Fit: Down to earth, enjoys having fun with treatments and coworkers, able to take a joke
