Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota

Job Summary
Seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to prepare and assist in the Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. The role involves performing hemodynamic and control room duties, completing patient catheterization reports, analyzing invasive and non-invasive tests, performing stress tests, practicing radiation safety, and transporting patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the Cath Lab for cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring proper supplies and equipment setup.
- Perform hemodynamic and control room duties with a working knowledge of equipment.
- Correlate analysis of invasive and non-invasive tests to identify the need for additional intervention and report findings to physicians.
- Perform and monitor patient stress tests.
- Maintain sterile technique during Cardiac Cath Lab procedures.
- Practice radiation safety to protect staff and patients.
- Transport patients as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet department needs.
Required Certifications
- RCES or RCIS certification (must meet requirements for conditional license from North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board)
- North Dakota Medical Imaging License (to be obtained within 12 months of start date)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 90 days of start date)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (within 90 days of start date)
- Cardiovascular Technologist - Registered (within 24 months of start date)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty
Schedule
- 8 or 10 hour shifts
- 36-40 hours per week, day shift
- No call, no weekends or holidays
- Some open-ended late shifts
Additional Notes
- Candidate must obtain state license from the North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board.
- Can be licensed as either RCIS or RCES.
- Must meet requirements aligned with the conditional license of the North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board.
