Job Details

• Specialty: MRI Technician
• Shift:

  • Wednesday through Friday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 AM (overnight)
  • Saturday: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (overnight)
• Unit: Radiology – MRI Tech
• Work Sites: Rotating coverage between two sites (Outpatient and Hospital)
• Bed Count: 371
• EMR System: EPIC
• Floating: Yes

Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years
• Required Skills:

  • Siemens Scanner experience
  • Phlebotomy
  • Outlook proficiency
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Certifications & Licenses Required

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or ARMRIT accepted
• CPR
• BLS (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military) – preferred AHA for some hospitals
• Valid professional license with primary source verification (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted)

Health & Safety Requirements

• N95 Fit Test (within 365 days of start date, updated annually)
• MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30)
• TB test (skin test or blood test) within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)
• Positive PPD requires negative chest X-ray documentation

Background & Compliance Checks

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break
• Social Security Number trace for past 7 years
• National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days of start, updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days of start, updated annually
• Education verification of highest level achieved

• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city & state
• Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Rotating shifts and floating between sites are mandatory.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts and rotating holidays.
