Description

Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

40 hours per week, day shift
On-call responsibilities: 4-6 weekends and 1 night per week

Job Responsibilities

Set up, prepare, and clean exam rooms before and after procedures
Maintain room supplies
Discuss patient history and educate patients about exams
Properly identify inpatients according to standards
Prepare and administer contrast under physician direction
Perform pain assessments and take appropriate actions
Prepare physician fee slips by coding procedures accurately using CPT coding system
Complete charges for exams in Epic and PACS systems
Perform other duties as needed to support the department

Required Certifications (Must be obtained prior to start date)

North Dakota Medical Imaging License
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
