Description

Travel RN - PACU

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Job Description

Provide care to Post Anesthesia Care patients
Collaborate with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Surgical staff, and other personnel
Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policies
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership for safe delivery of care
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
Floating required if needed
On-call: 10-12 days of call in a 6-week schedule period
Shift: 4x10 hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Scrub color: Any color scrubs allowed
EMR system: Cerner

Requirements

Arizona RN License
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in PACU specialty
