Job Summary: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position
Location: Centerville, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 5 days per week, Monday to Friday
- Shift hours: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a large hospital setting (Level 1 preferred, Level 2 accepted)
- BLS certification through AHA required
- ARRT and ODH certification required
- Experience with GE equipment required
- Travel experience preferred (not mandatory)
Job Responsibilities
- Independently perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using proper techniques and contrast media administration
- Work within scope of practice and licensure for medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture
- Coordinate patient flow and activities within the Radiology Department
- Maintain equipment in good working condition using professional judgment
- May perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed
- May have on-call responsibilities
Additional Requirements
- Must be available to work every other holiday
- Will be fitted for N95 respirator before working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is provided/needed
- Employer reserves the right to cancel up to 2 shifts during the 13-week contract due to low census
- Employer may cancel the agreement with 2 weeks' notice without penalty
- Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives
Certifications & Compliance
- BLS (AHA) required
- ARRT certification required
- Ohio state licensure verification required
- Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG required
- Drug screening within 12 months required (including marijuana panel)
- Physical exam within 2 years required, indicating fitness to work and free of communicable diseases
- Respiratory safety clearance required within 1 year and must be renewed annually
- Immunizations or proof of immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B required
- Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
- Other competency exams and certifications as applicable to the role
Documentation & Verification
- I-9 and E-Verify attestation required
- Government-issued photo ID required
- Education verification (primary source) required
- Employment application/resume required
- Skills checklist updated within 1 year required
- References: 2 professional references within 2 years required (1 must be a manager/supervisor)
- Work history verification may be required if references are not available
Notes
- Request for Time Off (RTO) must be submitted with initial application; no RTO added after offer
- RTO approval is at manager’s discretion
This position is ideal for a Radiologic Technologist with at least 2 years of hospital experience, preferably with prior travel experience and proficiency on GE equipment, seeking a 13-week travel contract in Ohio.
