Job Summary: Radiology / Cardiology Travel Contract

Location: Centerville, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• 4 days per week, Tuesday to Friday
• Shift hours: 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a large hospital setting (Level 1 preferred, Level 2 accepted)
• BLS certification through AHA required
• ARRT and ODH certification required
• Experience with GE equipment required
• Travel experience preferred (not explicitly required)

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using proper techniques and contrast media administration
• Work within scope of practice and licensure for medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture
• Coordinate patient flow and activities within the Radiology Department
• Maintain equipment in good working condition using professional judgment
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed
• May have on-call responsibilities

Additional Requirements

• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Will be fitted for N95 respirator before working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is provided/needed
• Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts during the 13-week contract due to low census
• Agreement may be canceled with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine
• Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives

Certifications & Compliance Requirements

• BLS (AHA only)
• ARRT certification
• Ohio state licensure (primary source verification required)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal background, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Physical exam within 2 years indicating fitness to work and free of communicable diseases
• Drug testing within 72 hours of contract signing and negative 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 12 months
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) but not explicitly stated for this role
