Job Opportunity: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics (Travel/Contract)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Description
- Position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a Georgia Respiratory Care Professional license.
- Work setting: Busy pediatric hospital with night shifts, every other weekend (EOW), holidays, and floating responsibilities.
- Floating includes coverage at sister facility, Emergency Department (ED), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Must have Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience.
- Epic electronic health record experience is required.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
- Required skills: Intermediate/Advanced flow management, ventilators, triage, Level I trauma care.
- Knowledge of ventilator models V-60, Servo-i, Drager, Hamilton T-1, Vapotherm, Optiflow is required.
- Minimum 2 years recent RRT experience required.
- Pediatric experience is mandatory.
- Recent travel experience preferred but not required.
Required Certifications & Licenses
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with proof of certification.
- Georgia Respiratory Care Professional license.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA only.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Pediatric experience required.
- NICU/PICU experience required.
- Recent travel experience preferred but not mandatory.
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to float to sister facility, ED, and ICU.
- Must be able to work nights, every other weekend, and holidays.
- Must have Epic experience.
- Must provide proof of diploma or associate degree program with RRT credentials.
Health & Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start (not required annually).
- Fit mask (N95) test within 12 months of start; specific mask models required.
- Tdap vaccine required (no declinations accepted without approved exemption).
- Negative TB test (Qgold or Tspot within 3 months of start; PPD not accepted).
- Required immunizations or positive titers for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or declination)
- Seasonal flu vaccination mandatory for the current season; no exemptions accepted.
- Drug testing: 10-panel plus nicotine/cotinine test within 60 days of start.
Background & Documentation
- Background check required within 30 days of start (7-year criminal check covering all locations lived/worked).
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals.
- Proof of identity (government-issued photo ID), Social Security card, and residency declaration (if applicable).
- Education verification or diploma/transcripts required (associates degree in respiratory care or equivalent).
- Skills checklist and references required and must be updated annually.
- Confidentiality and security agreement must be signed prior to start.
