Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Location: Rochester, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Sunday to Wednesday, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
• Prior travel experience: Not required (accepts first-time travelers)

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA Provider/Instructor/RQI acceptable
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA Provider/Instructor/RQI acceptable, as required by unit
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA Provider/Instructor/RQI acceptable, as required by unit
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - as required by unit
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - as required by unit
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - as required by unit
• State License Primary Source Verification within 30 days of start
• NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP) within 30 days of start
• NIH Stroke Certification (required for all RNs except birthing units & OR)
• Tech Cert Verification - National (as required within 30 days of start)
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (required)

• Adult, Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Portables

Additional Requirements

• Government Issued Photo ID required
• Background checks including 7-year criminal background check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Education verification from primary source required (no hard copy degrees accepted)
• Foreign equivalency education evaluation if applicable
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Immunizations and titers required: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Drug screening within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or signed declination during flu season
• Eye exam (Snellen) within 1 year of start
• COVID vaccination copy preferred but not required
• References (2 within 3 years) required for Aya candidates only
• Employment application and skills checklist required
• Work history verification required
• Facility-specific documents and photo for badge required

Dress Code

• Scrubs: Caribbean blue or surgical scrubs from facility

Other Notes

• No local candidates within 50-mile radius accepted
• Return to Office (RTO) expected within 1 week for this 13-week contract
• No holidays during contract period

This position is suitable for healthcare professionals with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology, who are comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment using advanced imaging equipment and EPIC EMR. First-time travelers are welcome.
