Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Contract

Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Travel

Contract Details

Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM
On Call: Required (average 9 days per month, including 1 weekend per month)

Unit Information

Unit: Cath Lab
Number of Labs: 3
Staffing:
- 3 staff per procedure
- Day Shift: 9 staff plus supervisor
- Night Shift: 3-person call team
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Equipment: Philips
EMR System: Meditech
Typical Procedures: Standard diagnostic and complex interventional cases (high volume)
Work Environment: Very busy lab with a strong sense of urgency
Scrubs: Provided by hospital

Requirements

Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- Cath Lab Tech Certification (ARRT or RCIS required)
Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Cardiac Cath Lab Tech)
Preferred: Candidates with 2+ years experience will be considered first
