Job Description
- Role: Cardiac Catheterization Technologist II
- Responsibilities:
- Act as a critical member of the patient care team within the department
- Collaborate with care team members to ensure continuity of care
- Promote patient/family-focused care in all interactions
- Focus on understanding and meeting customer needs
- Shifts:
- (3) 12-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts per week
- Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call possible, but no weekend or holiday worked shifts guaranteed
- Expect 1-3 weeknights and possibly 1 weekend during the 13-week contract (not guaranteed)
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2+ years as a Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum 1+ year prior travel experience required as a traveler
- Certifications: ARRT with RCIS required
Certifications & Licenses
- ACLS (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
- Professional license verification required (no MA Conditional Licenses accepted)
- Fit Test (N95) within 365 days of start date, updated annually
- MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
- Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30)
- TB test documentation within 3 months of start date
- Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
- Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI and national sex offender check
- Education verification of highest level achieved
- Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)
Additional Health & Professional Requirements
- Hepatitis B vaccine or proof of immunity preferred
- Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years)
- Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation
- Various background and exclusion checks required and must be updated regularly
