Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Labor & Delivery)

Location: Montclair, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Shift: 3x12 hour nights
Required Years of Experience: 2 years
Prior Travel Experience: Not required (preferred but not mandatory)
Charting System: Epic (experience preferred)

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
AWHONN Intermediate
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - as applicable
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - as applicable
CHEMO (Chemotherapy) - as applicable
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - as applicable
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) - as applicable
NIH Stroke Certification - as applicable
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) - as applicable

Required Documentation & Compliance

Driver’s License/State ID
E-Verify
7-year Background Check (including SS Trace, County searches, Nationwide, Sex Offender, Education Verification)
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
Fingerprinting (time sensitive for certain locations)
Education Verification (highest level)
NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
Photo for badge
Physical Exam within 12 months
Fit Mask Test within 1 year (must be renewed annually)
Immunizations and Health Requirements:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year
- TB Questionnaire (if applicable)
- Measles (Rubeola) - positive titer or 2 vaccines
- Mumps - positive titer or 2 vaccines
- Rubella - positive titer or 2 vaccines
- Hepatitis B - positive titer, series, or declination
- Varicella - positive titer, 2 vaccines, or documented history
- Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved exemption (required during flu season)
- COVID-19 Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)

This is a travel contract position; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible.
