Job Opportunity: Dietary Services (Travel/Contract)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work location covers inpatient hospital and multiple clinics (5 or more) operating Monday to Friday.
- Schedule: 8-10 hours per day, 4-5 days per week, totaling a 40-hour work week.
- Flexible start time between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM with a 30-minute lunch break.
- No call and no weekend shifts.
Required Experience and Skills
- Previous pediatric nutrition experience is required.
- Must have skills in diagnosing pediatric malnutrition and working with all pediatric age groups (infants through adolescents).
- Experience providing various nutrition education, writing enteral nutrition orders, working with specialty formulas and human milk.
- Ability to conduct ADIME assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience coordinating discharge needs including WIC and patient teaching.
- Must have experience in pediatrics and writing TPN orders (including macros, volume, and electrolytes).
- Strong foundation in nutrition support and inpatient environment experience.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system is a significant plus.
- Must be a quick learner, efficient, able to multitask, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills with patients and hospital staff.
Licensure and Certification
- Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD).
- Must hold a valid Dietitian license in Georgia.
Required Years of Experience
