Job Opportunity: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - Travel/Contract

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• Licensure: Massachusetts license in hand required.
• Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience, including critical care experience.
  • Level 1 trauma center experience with high acuity patients required.
  • Previous NICU experience preferred.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA only
• Schedule:

  • Every other weekend coverage
  • Major holiday coverage
  • Cross campus coverage (includes multiple hospital campuses)

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Massachusetts Statewide (iCORI) Release (updated annually)
• 7-year Criminal Background Check within 30 days of start (annual update required)
• Education Verification (highest completed education, transcript acceptable if verification unavailable)
• Various background checks including EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, Sex Offender Search (as applicable)
• State License Verification within 30 days of start
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start
• Physical Exam within 12 months of start, including physician statement of fitness to work without restrictions
• Drug Testing within 30 days of start (specific drug panels required)
• Immunizations and/or Declinations (with some declinations not accepted for Pediatrics, NICU, Maternity):

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • TB Testing (2 PPDs or QuantiFERON/T-Spot) and TB Questionnaire
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu Seasonal Vaccination or Declination (required during flu season)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (most recent) or Declination
• Medication and Telemetry Competency Exams (pass required with minimum 80%)
• References: 2 references within 3 years of start
• Employment Application: 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Skills Checklist: Required prior to start and updated annually as applicable

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• This role involves working in a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma center environment.
• Cross-campus coverage means flexibility to work across multiple hospital locations within the system.
• Candidates must be prepared for weekend and holiday shifts.
