Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Schedule:
- 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) on Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Call Monday through Thursday every 3-4 weeks
- Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work 4 out of 8 major holidays (Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, December 26, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Patient Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
- Types of Scans:
- Brain: Perfusion, Functional, Spectroscopy
- Body: Enterography, Defecography, Musculoskeletal
- Breast (including Breast biopsy)
- Spine
Experience & Certification Requirements
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
- Certifications:
- ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - as applicable
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - as applicable
- Licensure:
- Must have appropriate state license (Missouri or Compact License)
- Primary source verification required prior to start
Prior Travel Experience

Compliance & Onboarding Requirements
- Background Checks:
- Criminal background check within 12 months including SSN trace, 7-year county residence/work history, nationwide search, sex offender search
- State-specific searches required for Missouri (MO EDL Search, MO Family Care Safety Registry)
- Health Requirements:
- Physical exam within 1 year indicating good health
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (chest X-ray within 5 years if positive PPD)
- Drug screening within 12 months of start
- Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required annually during flu season
- COVID vaccination preferred
- OSHA Respirator Clearance required prior to start (fit testing done onsite during orientation)
- Orientation & Training:
- Completion of facility-specific modules and orientation checklists required
- AbioMed Impella Online Training required for ICU/CCU and Cath Lab candidates (updated annually)
- Additional Documentation:
- Government-issued photo ID and valid driver's license/state ID
- I9 and E-Verify documentation
- Residency declaration form if working on a compact license from a different state
- Confidentiality and security agreements, standards of ethical conduct signed prior to start
- Photo for badge (passport style, plain background)
Additional Notes
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exams and other competency exams may be required per facility standards
- Color vision testing required for certain tech roles (e.g., Med Lab Techs)
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification required for Behavioral Health and ER roles (not specified for this position)
- Candidates must complete post-start orientation checklists within the first week of assignment
This position is ideal for Radiology/Cardiology professionals with at least 1 year of experience, appropriate certifications, and readiness to work a rotating schedule including holidays in a hospital setting.
