Job Opportunity: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - Worcester, Massachusetts

Position Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
• Facility Type: Level 1 trauma center with high acuity patients

Experience Requirements

• Specialty Experience: Minimum 3 years of critical care experience
• Additional Experience: Previous NICU experience preferred
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Licenses & Certifications

• Required:

  • Massachusetts license in hand
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Work Schedule

• Every other weekend coverage
• Major holiday coverage
• Cross campus coverage (includes multiple campuses)

Key Job Requirements

• Must be able to work in a Level 1 trauma center environment with high acuity patients
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID required
• Background checks including 7-year criminal background check and other verifications required
• Education verification of highest completed education required
• Physical exam within 12 months of start, including physician statement of fitness to work without restrictions
• Drug testing within 30 days of start
• Various immunizations or declinations required (e.g., TB, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, COVID-19, Flu, TDAP)

Additional Compliance & Documentation

• Statewide Massachusetts iCORI clearance required within 30 days prior to start
• Medication and Telemetry competency exams required for RNs and LPNs
• References: 2 references within three years of start
• Employment application covering 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Skills checklist required prior to start and updated annually as applicable
