Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

Location: Saginaw, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) on patients using highly technical Siemens equipment, including administering contrast materials as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare scan room and patient for examination (25%)
• Draw up and administer IV/oral contrast as needed; perform equipment warm-up; enter and review patient data and scan parameters (25%)
• Transport and position patients appropriately; screen for allergies; perform scans with attention to positioning and image quality (25%)
• Ensure proper marking and image entry with attention to order (15%)
• Prepare records for radiologist, ensuring clinical information and exam images are complete and accurate (10%)

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (highest required)
• Equipment Experience: Siemens MRI experience required
• Education: Associate Degree required
• Certifications:

  • Active MRI Certification through ARRT or AMRIT
  • Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Additional:

  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates not considered)
  • Work history and skills checklist pertinent to MRI required (current within 1 year)
  • Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years

• Dress Code: Matching scrubs of any color
