Description

Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Position

Location: Lewiston, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Evaluate patients and develop/implement treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Support patient and family education to promote functional independence and patient-centered outcomes.
Coverage includes outpatient, inpatient, and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU).
Position covers maternity leave starting in April.

Requirements

Licensure: Must have an active Idaho SLP license.
Certifications: BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a rehab or ARU setting.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM with rotating Saturdays.

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
Candidates must be prepared to submit detailed documentation including certifications and experience.
Experience with community hospital settings (permanent or contract) is queried but not mandatory.
