Travel RN Opportunity - North Carolina (Hickory)

Position Details

Specialty: RN (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - CVICU)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Not specified
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend or as needed
Call Requirements: No on-call
Unit: CVICU (8 beds)
Patient Ratios: Typically 2:1, occasionally 1:1
Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
Equipment: Impella, IABP, CRRT
EHR System: Cerner

Required Qualifications

Licensure: Registered Nurse License (RN)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; CCRN preferred; NIH Certification also required
Education: Associate Nursing Degree minimum
Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (CVICU experience required)
Must Have Skills: At least 1 year CVICU experience after orientation completion
Personality Fit: Strong critical thinking skills

Specialty Focus

CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)
TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction)
Carotid procedures

Additional Information

Float requirements per scheduled rotation
Dress code: Professional scrubs of any color
