Job Overview

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Sioux City, Iowa
• Employment Type: Temporary
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
• Work schedule includes 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
• Limited time off allowed during late November and late December holiday periods.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
• At least 1 prior travel nursing contract must be completed (prior travel experience required).

Certifications & Licenses

• Must hold a current Iowa nursing license (Compact license allowed).
• Required certifications:

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • NIHSS

Additional Information

• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
• Overtime, holiday, call back, and charge/precept pay multipliers apply.
• Submission requirements include work history, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, certifications, supervisory reference, and proof of taxable address.

This opportunity is suitable for experienced travel RNs who meet the certification and licensing requirements and have prior travel contract experience.
