Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health
Shift: Days (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM), every other weekend required

Requirements

Active Arkansas state or multistate nursing license
BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health RN experience (highest required)
SAMA (Substance Abuse Mental Health Administration) certification preferred but can be completed at the facility if needed
Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Job Description

Provide care to adult psychiatric patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership for safe delivery of care
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care

Additional Information

Position requires accountability for patient care and leadership on shift
Facility may require floating to other units (not explicitly stated)
