Job Opportunity: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics (Travel/Contract)

Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

  • Work in the largest pediatric sleep lab in South Carolina.
  • Specialize in patients with chronic genetic syndromes (e.g., Down syndrome, autism).
  • Patient age range: 1 to 18 years old (pediatric experience required).
  • Work schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, every other weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun).
  • Experience with Epic required; Nihon Kohden sleep software preferred.

Required Credentials & Licenses

  • Must have license in hand at time of submission.
  • Credentials: RPSGT or RRT-SDS.
    • If RPSGT, an exemption letter from LLR is required.
    • If RRT-SDS, a state license from LLR is required.
  • BLS certification required.

  • Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA, OSHA/TJC training).
  • Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) – required for RNs and certain tech roles.
  • State License Verification – must be current and primary source verified.
  • NURSYS Verification – must show all licenses and authorize work in SC.

Compliance & Background Checks

  • 7-year background check within 12 months of start.
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and every 30 days thereafter.
  • Fingerprinting required if applicable (e.g., if lived/worked in WV in last 7 years).
  • Education verification required (highest level).
  • OFAC Sanctions List Search required for all new candidates.
  • Drug testing within 1 year of start, updated annually (5-panel minimum).
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands.
  • Immunizations and health documents required:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (last 10 years) for high-risk areas.
    • Negative TB test (True 2-step PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or Tspot) within 90 days.

Work Schedule

  • 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each.
