Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday, 3 PM - 11 PM

Experience Requirements
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Background & Compliance Requirements
- Criminal background check within 60 days of start, including all states lived/worked in past 7 years.
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start.
- Education verification or proof of diploma from accredited programs.
- Fingerprinting: Virginia State Police National Criminal Background Check required for certain units; results can pend but proof of submission must be on file.
- References: 2 references required.
- Employment application/resume required.
- Skills checklist required and must be updated annually.
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands.
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine or declination required.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (Q-gold/T-spot within 30 days or two PPDs as specified).
- TB questionnaire required annually regardless of TB status.
- Titers required for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella; booster required if low titer.
- Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination required.
- Drug testing within 60 days of start (9-panel minimum, instant screens not accepted).
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required for 2025-26 season.
Competency & Facility Specific Requirements
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable.
- Color blindness testing required.
- Abuse reporting competency required (covering physical/sexual abuse, domestic violence, neglect/exploitation).
- Orientation includes exams such as Pharmacology, Point of Care Testing, Airborne Precaution Mask Fitting, and BKAT for certain nursing roles.
- Completion of assigned learning modules during orientation (approx. 6 hours).

- Locals allowed at the same rate.
- Candidates must carry government-issued photo ID during hours of service.
- Proof of primary residence must match compact licensure; otherwise, candidate cannot work the assignment.
- No onsite certification renewals; renewals must be scheduled prior to contract start.

- Candidates must bring mask (cloth acceptable), non-wireless headphones, and laptop/cell phone if available.
