Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology X-Ray Tech

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No on-call required
• Pain Management experience required
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Must have Ohio Radiology license in hand before start
• ARRT & BLS (AHA) certifications required

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiology specialty
• Pain Management experience required
• Prior travel experience not explicitly required

Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT certification required
• BLS (AHA) required for all candidates
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required as applicable (AHA only)
• State Radiology license (Ohio) must be current and verified
• National certification verification prior to start and upon expiration
• FBI and BCI fingerprinting required within 12 months of start (agency and facility)

Compliance & Background Checks

• Government-issued photo ID required
• Criminal background check (FCRA compliant 7-year search) required prior to start and updated for breaks in service of 2+ months
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required monthly on the 15th
• Transcript/Diploma verification required
• Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references required
• Employment application must include 3 years prior work history, including at least 2 years clinical practice in acute care and similar area

Health & Safety Requirements

• Pre-employment physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming ability to perform essential job functions
• Fit mask test (N95) within 12 months, updated annually
• Negative 2-step PPD or Quantiferon Gold TB test/T-Spot within 6 months of start, or chest x-ray if prior positive
• Annual TB questionnaire if history of positive TB test
• Immunization or titer proof for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months, updated annually (no instant drug screens accepted)
• Flu vaccine or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (10/31–3/31); declinations not accepted

Orientation & Training

• Completion of facility-specific online training modules (4-5 hours) prior to start required
• Modules must be completed on a computer using Chrome browser
• Badge pickup on first day for X-Ray Techs

Additional Notes

• Locals accepted at the same rate
• Fingerprints must be completed immediately upon signing if not already done; X-Ray Techs can start with agency fingerprint results pending as long as prints have been completed
• Annual updates required for many certifications, health documents, and background checks

This position is ideal for experienced Radiology professionals with required certifications and Ohio licensure ready to commit to a 13-week travel contract in Cleveland, Ohio.
