Facility & Unit Information

• Emergency Department with 20 beds
• Patient ratio: 4:1
• High-paced, high-acuity, rural emergency department
• Various aged patient population
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Paragon
• Shift options: 7 AM, 11 AM, 7 PM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours
• Weekend hours: Rotating
• No call requirements
• No float requirements

Required Certifications & Licenses

• CPR
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Handle with care or de-escalation training (Crisis Prevention Intervention Training - CPI)
• NIH Certification
• Registered Nurse License

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Department nursing

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Peripheral IV insertion
• Stroke care
• Sepsis management
• STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction) experience

Work Environment & Dress Code

• Scrub colors allowed: Black, navy, royal blue
• No vulgar/slang language on clothing
• No sweatpants or active pants
