Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Emergency Department nursing
• Certifications:

  • CPR
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • Handle with care de-escalation training (Crisis Prevention Intervention Training - CPI)
  • NIH Certification
• Licenses: Registered Nurse License
• Preferred Skills:

  • Peripheral IV
  • Stroke care
  • Sepsis management
  • STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction) experience

Additional Information

• Patient Care: Diverse patient population with various diagnoses and treatments typical of an emergency department
• Dress Code: Scrubs in black, navy, or royal blue; no vulgar/slang language on clothing; no sweatpants or active pants allowed
• Float Requirements: None

• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status.
