Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Roanoke, Virginia

Contract Length: Flexible, up to 52 weeks (approximately 1 year)
- Travelers may request contracts from 14 to 52 weeks.
- Standard schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
- 4x12 shifts available upon request
- Unit assignment determined by facility need after clinical evaluation
Requirements
- Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum 1 year RN experience (default to standard for PCU RNs)

Compliance & Documentation
- I9 or attestation required
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID with address within 100 miles of facility required within 48 hours of signing
- E-Verify or attestation required
- 7-year background check required within 1 year of start (covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
- Education verification of highest earned degree required (transcript/diploma for PCU/ER/TCU)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming freedom from communicable diseases
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start, updated annually (not required for students)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
- Required immunizations or positive titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination documentation or mask/declination form during flu season
- 2 clinical references required
- Complete employment application/resume required
- Annual skills checklist update required
Additional Notes
- Candidates must review and acknowledge the Contract Staff Orientation Manual prior to start (not required for inpatient RNs)
- Photo for badge required (professional photo with plain background)
- VA State Police Search completed onsite first day of orientation for certain candidates (home health, hospice)
- Radiation badges not provided by agency for new candidates; client supplies if needed
