Shift: Night Shift, 12-hour nights (7 PM - 7 AM), 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in a small critical access hospital with close collaboration between ER and MedSurg units.
• Must be comfortable working in a combined ER/MedSurg environment.
• Previous charge nurse experience is required.

Required Certifications

• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
• American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• American Heart Association PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum Certification)

All licenses and certifications must be current at the time of submission.

Experience Requirements

• Emergency Room skills checklist current within the past year (required).
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment (required).
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Licensing

• Must hold a valid New Hampshire nursing license.
• Compact license holders are allowed.

• Support staff includes Emergency Department technicians and Certified Emergency Registered Nurses.
• TeleEmergency, Telepsych, and Teleneonatal services are available.
• The hospital works closely with ambulance services and helicopter trauma services for rapid patient transfer.
• Return to Office (RTO) is limited to 5 days.

Summary

This is a night shift ER RN position requiring prior charge nurse experience and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. The role is in a small critical access hospital with a collaborative ER/MedSurg environment. The contract length is approximately 13 weeks. A New Hampshire nursing license or compact license is required. Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement.
