Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician

Location: Florence, South Carolina
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements & Responsibilities

• Must hold current certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and SCRQSA
• Proficiency in sterile technique required
• Ability to properly position patients and perform all radiographic examinations
• Familiarity with all radiographic equipment and ability to operate at any time
• Provide high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
• Responsible for patient care, supplies, and equipment maintenance
• Maintain a professional image and excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development
• Adherence to all facility policies to ensure high-quality service
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Certifications & Credentials

• ARRT or NMTCB certification
• BLS (AHA only)
• ACLS (AHA only)
• SCRQSA certification
• Valid Driver's License/State ID
• Social Security Card
• License/Certificate verification including ARRT and SCQRSA (state-specific registry)
• Proof of immunizations or titers (no declinations accepted):

  • MMR (2 immunizations or titer with lab report)
  • Hepatitis B (3 vaccinations or titer with lab report)
  • Varicella (2 immunizations or titer with lab report)
• COVID-19 vaccination card (fully vaccinated preferred)
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) testing within required timeframes
• Annual influenza vaccine (required September-April; exemptions considered case-by-case)
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (rapid screen not accepted)
• Criminal background check covering last 7 years, including multiple national and state databases, done within 60 days of start and updated annually
• Employment verification for the past 5 years
• Completion of clinical skills checklist prior to start, updated annually
