Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• Must be able to work some weekends and holidays as needed (no scheduled rotation)
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in specialty
• Stress echo experience required
• ARDMS or CCI registration required
• Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Certifications & Competencies

• ACLS (AHA Only)
• BLS (AHA Only)
• Other certifications may be required depending on specialty area (check specific requirements)
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required for RNs and LPNs
• Competency exams required as applicable

Licensure & Background Checks

• Valid Driver’s License or State ID required
• Massachusetts Statewide (iCORI) Release required and updated annually
• 7-year Criminal Background Check within 30 days of start, including:

  • SSN Trace
  • 7-year County search
  • National Criminal search
  • NSOR, OIG, and SAM checks
• Education Verification of highest completed education required
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) required within 30 days prior to start
• State License verification required within 30 days of start

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical Exam within 12 months of start, including physician statement of fitness without restrictions
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray with required testing timelines
• TB Questionnaire required for all candidates
• Immunizations or valid declinations required for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu Seasonal Vaccination or declination (during flu season)
  • COVID-19 vaccination (most recent) or declination form
• Drug Testing within 30 days of start, covering multiple substances

Additional Requirements

• 2 professional references within 3 years of start
• Employment application covering 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Skills checklist required prior to start and updated annually as applicable

Work Environment & Notes

• Facility may require additional facility-specific documents and attestations
• Compliance with all background, health, and certification requirements is mandatory for assignment start and continuation
