• Pending License: Accepted if active by start date

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only

Certifications Preferred

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Additional Details

• 2 RNs needed with critical care experience
• 6 RNs need to be telemetry-trained
• Must pass an on-site EKG test prior to application review
• Monitor Techs must pass an on-site EKG exam covering cardiac conduction system, dysrhythmias, and wave identification

Background & Compliance

• Background check required within 90 days of start, covering last 7 years and all states lived/worked
• Education verification or copy of diploma/transcripts required
• Physical exam required
• Negative 12-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (includes amphetamines, cannabinoids, MDMA, methamphetamines, buprenorphine, oxycodone, fentanyl, cocaine, methadone, tramadol, benzodiazepines, morphine/opiate)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (2-step PPD or Qgold accepted; T-Spots not accepted)
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (boosters if low titer)
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start (flu season October–May)
• COVID vaccine exemption allowed with medical or religious documentation

Facility Specific Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific modules (approx. 8-10 hours) prior to start; paid time for completion
• Clear passport-style photo required for badge
• Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement required before start
• Cardiac Rhythms Review material required for Monitor Techs
• Various exemption forms for COVID and flu vaccines as applicable
