Description

Travel RN Opportunity - PACU / ICU

Location: Olympia Fields, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: PACU / ICU
Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in PACU / ICU (highest requirement)
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 17:30)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours
Weekend Hours: On-call 1-2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Call Requirements: 7-8 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule, including weekend (07:00-07:00), weeknight (20:00-07:00), and holiday coverage (07:00-07:00)
Required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
Float Requirements: None

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 9
Patient Ratios: Typically 1:1, can be up to 1:3 when holding for beds
Patient Types: General, Orthopedic, Urology, Pain Management, Podiatry, OB-GYN
Equipment: Phillips Monitors
EMR System: Epic

Work Environment & Culture

Small unit work environment
Emphasis on being a dependable team player

Dress Code

Scrubs provided
Must adhere to facility dress code policy

Additional Requirements

Mandatory hospital orientation, education modules, and Epic training must be completed prior to starting on the unit
