Physical Therapist (PT) - Temp Contract

Location: Vandalia, Illinois

Job Description

• Plan and execute rehabilitation programs to help patients improve physical function.
• Utilize therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, physical modalities, gait training, and manual techniques.
• Perform patient evaluations and treatments per physician prescriptions.
• Assist in clinic management including oversight of personnel and students.
• Demonstrate effective communication and strong interpersonal skills to motivate patients and provide compassionate care.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1+ years of Physical Therapy experience (specialty experience).
• Outpatient orthopedics experience required.

Licenses & Certifications

• Active Illinois Physical Therapist License (must be current and active).
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.

Documentation & References

• Skills checklist current to within 1 year, relevant to Physical Therapy.
• Two completed supervisory reference forms with dates of employment.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates are not considered).
• Applicants who were direct employees of the facility within the last 2 years are not eligible.

Contract Length

• 12 weeks

Work Environment & Dress Code

• Business casual attire (Khakis and polo).
