Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU Level III experience or Adult Critical Care experience for a travel assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years (based on specialty and unit requirements)
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Licenses: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
Unit & Work Environment
- Unit Type: Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Adult Critical Care
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Floating Policy: As needed
- Shift Details: Weekend shifts every other weekend or as discussed during interview
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 to 40 hours per week
- Call Requirements: To be discussed during interview
Additional Information
- Patient Care: High acuity patients in NICU or adult critical care settings
- Dress Code:
- Scrubs required
- Clean and healthy nails; no artificial or gel nails
- Neat, clean hair; pulled back if shoulder length or longer
- Tattoos should be covered when possible
- Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
- Work Culture: Emphasis on teamwork, communication, and compassionate patient care
- Technology & Equipment: State-of-the-art cardiovascular ICU and advanced respiratory care equipment
